COGNITIVE MAPPING

Cognitive map can be defined as mental images and concept that is built to visualise and assimilate information. They are also referred to as mental maps, mind maps, schemata and frames of reference. 

The topic selected for the study was Organising from plus two business studies.The cognitive map can help students as well as teachers grasp the material along with the links and connection. It helps students to see relationship between ideas or concept. It also helps memory recall and helped to clarify and structure ideas. It also encourages students to think creatively about the subject to a limited extent. Thus through the cognitive mapping techniques learners get a clear picture of the topic and they can identify key points of the topic easily
